Ingredients

1 sheet pre-made pie crust (450g)
1 lb lean ground beef (85/15 blend)
2 bread rolls (crumbs from inside)
1 egg (lightly beaten)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup beef or plant-based pepperoni slices
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Roll out pie crust into a 13×9-inch rectangle
In a bowl, mix ground beef, torn bread roll pieces, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Press mixture into the crust as a sturdy base
Brush crust edges with 1 tbsp olive oil
Pour tomato sauce over beef mixture
Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices
Fold dough edges upward to form a pie-like shell
Bake for 35 minutes until filling is cooked through and crust is golden

Notes
