Ingredients
1 pound ground halal beef (80/20 mix)
1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
8 oz sliced mushrooms
2 cups low-sodium beef broth
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) if baking
Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl
Form into 4 thick patties using your hands
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat; cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned
Remove patties and set aside
In the same skillet, add chopped onions and sauté for 5 minutes
