Ingredients

3 lbs Top Sirloin, cubed into even bite-sized pieces
3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp Seasoned Salt, divided
Black Pepper to taste
2 cups Low-sodium Beef Broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 tsp Dried Thyme
1 cup Diced Onion
1 tbsp Minced Garlic
1 Bay Leaf
3 tbsp Cold Water
2 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions

Season the beef cubes with half the seasoned salt and black pepper.
Heat 1.5 tbsp of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef in batches until browned on all sides. Transfer to the slow cooker.
In the same skillet, sauté the onions until soft, adding the garlic in the final minute. Transfer to the slow cooker.
Pour the beef broth, Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, thyme, and remaining seasoned salt into the slow cooker.
Add the bay leaf and stir everything to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
In a small bowl, whisk the cornstarch and cold water together to create a slurry.
Stir the slurry into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking to thicken the gravy.
Remove the bay leaf before serving.

Notes

Leftovers store well in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Ensure you remove the bay leaf before serving to avoid a choking hazard.
