Description
A quick family-friendly meal blending smoky halal sausage with tender shrimp for a crowd-pleasing kabob everybody loves.
Ingredients
8 oz halal sausage links (sliced)
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 skewers (wooden or metal)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
Preheat grill or griddle to medium-high heat
Whisk olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder
Thread sausage slices and shrimp alternately onto skewers
Brush skewers with spice mixture
Grill for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally until shrimp are pink and sausage is golden
Notes
Use bamboo skewers if using a grill
For vegan alternative, substitute tofu along with halal sausage
Marinate shrimp in cup of coconut milk for extra flavor if desired
