Ingredients
1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 burger buns, toasted
1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded
Instructions
Form ground beef into 4 equal patties
In a large skillet, cook patties over medium-high heat (3-4 minutes per side) until browned
Top each patty with mozzarella slices; cook 1-2 minutes until cheese melts
Spread pizza sauce on both sides of toasted buns
Place a cooked patty with cheese on the bottom bun half
Add 1-2 tablespoons pizza sauce to the top bun half; slide the bottom half upward to assemble
