Ingredients
4 fresh peaches
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Wash peaches, cut in half vertically, and remove the pits.
Place a skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
Once butter is melted, stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt until a syrup forms.
Place peach halves in the pan, cut side down.
Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the fruit is tender and the edges are caramelized.
Notes
Use peaches that are firm to the touch to ensure they hold their shape. Serve alongside vanilla bean ice cream or Greek yogurt for a decadent finish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
