Ingredients
1 Ribeye Steak (well-marbled)
16 Extra-large Shrimp (thawed and deveined)
5 tbsp Unsalted Butter (softened and divided)
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
3 tbsp Olive Oil
12 spears Asparagus (trimmed)
Sea Salt (to taste)
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of butter with minced garlic and parsley, then chill to blend flavors.
Pat the ribeye dry, brush with 0.5 tablespoons of oil, and season generously with sea salt.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat; sear steak 3-5 minutes per side until reaching desired doneness.
Transfer steak to a board, top with 1 tablespoon of garlic butter, and tent with foil to rest for 5 minutes.
Wipe the skillet and return to medium-low heat with 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Add asparagus and sauté until tender-crisp.
Add the remaining butter, then toss in the shrimp, cooking for 2-3 minutes until opaque and pink.
Serve the steak warm with the shrimp and asparagus, drizzled with any remaining juices from the board.
Notes
Ensure your steak is at room temperature before searing for an even cook. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C). The remaining garlic butter can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
