Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
2 cups shredded green cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
3 green onions, sliced (white and green parts separated)
3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions
Heat 1 teaspoon sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat
Add the white parts of green onions and sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes)
Add ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and no longer pink
Stir in shredded cabbage and carrots, cooking until crisp-tender (3-4 minutes)
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, and 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Pour sauce into the skillet with vegetables and turkey. Simmer until thickened (5 minutes)
Taste and adjust seasoning, then garnish with green onion slices and additional sesame oil
