Description

A hearty and comforting pasta dish featuring tender ground beef in a rich garlic-herb Parmesan sauce, wrapped around al dente bowtie pasta. Quick enough for weeknights but luxurious enough to feel like a restaurant meal. Alcohol-free and halal-compliant.

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
12 oz bowtie pasta
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional: 2 cups sautéed spinach or mushrooms

Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Cook beef until browned, breaking it apart; drain excess fat.
Add remaining 2 tbsp butter, onion, and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent.
Stir in cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer until sauce thickens (5-7 minutes).
Toss pasta with sauce. If using, mix in optional vegetables.
Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use halal-certified beef and dairy for stricter compliance
For vegan Parmesan alternative, try nutritional yeast-based cheese
Leftovers store well for 2-3 days in the refrigerator
