Ingredients
8 cups Fresh Peaches, peeled and sliced thinly
1 cup Granulated Sugar, divided
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tsp Cornstarch
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Whole Milk
1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of the sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch until well combined.
Transfer the peach mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Stir the milk and melted butter into the dry ingredients until just combined to form a smooth batter.
Pour the batter evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the cobbler is bubbling and the top is golden brown.
Allow the cobbler to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
