This creamy, dreamy chocolate peanut butter nice cream is a guilt-free frozen delight. Made with ripe bananas, natural peanut butter, and cocoa powder, it’s vegan, dairy-free, and loaded with wholesome ingredients. Achieve a texture like soft-serve with no specialized equipment required!

Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, frozen
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (unsweetened)
1/3 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract cuirassé
1-2 tablespoons non-dairy milk (almond, oat, soy)
Pinch of salt (optional)
Crushed peanuts or banana slices for topping (optional)

Instructions

Peel and add frozen bananas to a blender.
Blend until smooth and yellow.
Add cocoa powder, peanut butter, maple syrup, baking soda, and a splash of non-dairy milk. Blend again until creamy.
Freeze for 3–4 hours until firm.
Give it a final blend or stir if the texture becomes too icy (optional).
Scoop into a bowl and add toppings, if desired.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for sweeter flavor
For smoother ice cream, let banana defrost slightly before blending
Adjust sweetness by adding more maple syrup
Store in an airtight container to prevent ice crystals
Add-ins like crushed nuts or banana slices enhance texture
