Description
Experience the cool, refreshing sweetness of a signature cafe-style grape salad right in your own kitchen. This delightful dish combines a velvety smooth cream cheese and sour cream base with the crisp, vibrant snap of red and green seedless grapes. Topped with a sprinkle of crunchy pecans and brown sugar, it provides the perfect balance of richness and texture. It is a crowd-pleasing, easy-to-make treat perfectly suited for brunches, potlucks, or as a cooling side dish on a warm day.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 lbs red and green seedless grapes, washed and dried
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
2 tbsp light brown sugar
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until completely smooth and creamy.
Add the grapes to the mixing bowl and gently fold them into the dressing using a silicone spatula until evenly coated.
Transfer the salad to a serving dish and smooth the top.
In a small bowl, combine the chopped pecans and light brown sugar.
Sprinkle the pecan mixture evenly over the top of the grape salad.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature before mixing to prevent lumps. For the best texture, wash and dry the grapes thoroughly before adding them to the dressing to avoid a watery salad. You can store this in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, though it is best enjoyed within the first 24 hours.
