Perfectly juicy baked chicken breasts seasoned simply and roasted at high heat for a tender, flavorful result every time.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Pat chicken dry.
3. Rub with oil and seasonings.
4. Arrange in baking dish.
5. Bake 18–22 minutes.
6. Rest 5–7 minutes.
7. Slice and serve.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer for best results.
Chicken is done at 165°F.
Do not skip the resting time.
