Ingredients
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
Cut chicken into uniform 1-inch cubes.
In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
Toss chicken cubes in the butter and spice mixture until evenly coated.
Place panko breadcrumbs in a shallow dish or bowl.
Press each chicken piece into the panko, ensuring a thick, even coating on all sides.
Place coated nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
Air fry at 400°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
Ensure chicken cubes are cut to similar sizes for even cooking. For extra crunch, you can lightly spray the tops of the nuggets with cooking spray before air frying. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
